OVERVIEW
Each lesson is planned around individual goals, learning style and natural skills. Made of building blocks with lots of assisted interactive practice where appropriate.
One-to-one tuition starting at 8 years old. Available 10:00 to 20:30 Monday to Thursday and 10:00 to 14:00 every two weeks on Saturday. Lessons run regularly every week and every two weeks. Irregular slots are limited but negotiable.
The studio is a seven minutes walk away from Brixton tube and train, with bus stops right outside front gates. Free parking available.

BEGINNERS
Enter the world of music and drum beats with Drumming Intuition Volume 1. This course paves the way by covering essential techniques, rhythms and practice routines whilst theory is added only after the experience has taken place.
Some key features include:
Grip, posture and strokes
Root rhythms, hand-foot conditioning
Grooves, fills, songs and drum parts
Reading notes and feeling them as music
Rudiments and continued technique
Drummers preparing for their first UK grade exams, band rehearsals and auditions have also benefited from this drumming course.
Practicing away from lessons is a must.
ADVANCED
Elevate your existing drumming skills or tackle new ones.
Target specific areas of your playing, here some examples:
Strokes, groupings and their applications to rudiments, fills and grooves
Sight-reading - single line rhythms, drum chart reading, song structure, interpretation and transcription of whole songs and analysis. (can be kept to a functional minimum or a core goal in lesson plan).
Drum grade coaching available for Rockschool as well as Trinity-Guildhall syllabuses and coaching for auditions also available.
